The STEM Coalition is proud to support a variety of programs. From our Space STEM Program (featured in the video) with our Space Systems Command partners to Heritage Center tours, there are many events and programs to choose from.

Programs

  • This program consists of an interactive presentation along with a STEM activity designed to reinforce understanding of space, rockets, and satellites. This program can be in-person at your school, hybrid, or virtual. It is designed to engage students' creative thinking and help them explore the possibilities of STEM.

  • SSC Heritage Center Tours

    The Space Systems Command Heritage Center offers educational tours where visitors can view real-life space artifacts, such as space debris and models.

    Your group will be led on a 30-60 minute tour where they will learn about the history of the United States

    Air Force and Space Force at Los Angeles Air Force Base, see a real satellite up close, and more!

    SSC STEM

    Our partners at Space Systems Command regularly attend STEM nights and other STEM events where they showcase in-depth models and activities. They also coordinate speakers for various engagements.

    Onizuka Space Science Day

    An annual event hosted at El Camino College showcasing a keynote speech from an astronaut, followed by STEM presentations, demonstrations, and competitions. STEM Coalition attends and assists with our partner SC's presentation.

    LAUSD STEAM Expo

    An annual event where the Los Angeles Unified School District gathers to discuss all things STEAM. STEM Coalition attends and offers demonstrations of our STEM activities.
